Shoreham Coastguards go out for morning safety patrol
Shoreham Coastguards were out on a safety patrol this morning (May 30) as people head to the beach to enjoy the hot weather.
The coastguards said on Twitter they met up with Worthing Beach Office and checked various access points on the seafront and at the River Adur.
The patrol comes after lockdown restrictions have recently been eased by the government, and pictures show people have been out enjoying ice-cream, riding their bikes, and walking in the sunshine.
Shoreham Coastguard said on Twitter, “Out on safety patrol this morning. Caught up with Worthing Beach Office, checked various access points on seafront and River Adur. Even had time for a quick coffee at @mollyscoffee. Afternoon crew now out on patrol.”
