Crowds of people were seen queuing outside venues throughout the evening just hours before the country entered its second lockdown to help stop the spread of Covid-19 infections. During the new measures, hospitality venues are among businesses forced to close and many people decided to go to Brighton last night for their last night out before December. The new lockdown measures are due to last four weeks, with Prime Minister Boris Johnson planning to lift them on December 2. Under the new rules, people will not be allowed to mix with other households indoors and pubs, bars, restaurants can offer a takeaway service only.
