Five-year-old Chichester boy who ‘wants everyone to have a home’ runs 14 miles for homeless charity
Kian Stone, from Lavant, who has ‘always wanted to help from the age of three’, was concerned that homeless people had no where to keep safe during the coronavirus pandemic, and deicide he wanted to support the work of Stonepillow.
Mum Natasja said: “He’s always been keen to help the homeless when we’re walking in and out of Chichester.

“He’s a very inquisitive child and asks lots of questions. He started asking questions about raising money
“He said to me that everyone should have a home and food and that he wants to be able to give people those things.”
On his JustGiving page, Kian said ‘really wants to raise money for people who don’t have a home, clothes, food or drink’.

“He set a target of £160 so he completely smashed that,” Natasja said.
“I had the Strava app to see how far we had to go each day.
“For somebody who’s not a long distance runner, I didn’t enjoy running two miles every day but he was absolutely fine and didn’t complain once.
“We are very proud of him.”
Natasja said Stonepillow has been following Kian’s progress and the family are now preparing to take part in the charity’s Little Big Sleep Out at Home this weekend.
