Broadbridge Heath neighbours celebrate after scooping postcode lottery win

The neighbours - all living in Bearsden Way - were celebrating at the weekend after winning £1,000 each thanks to their lucky postcode.

They netted the windfall when RH12 3AQ was announced as a Daily Prize winner with the lottery on Saturday (December 19)

People’s Postcode Lottery ambassador Judie McCourt sent her well-wishes to the winners. She said: “What a lovely surprise just before Christmas!

“I hope this puts a smile on your face and you enjoy spending your winnings. Congratulations!”

A minimum of 32 per cent of ticket sales goes directly to charities and players of the postcode lottery have raised more than £600 million to date for thousands of good causes in Britain and beyond.

This draw was promoted on behalf of the children’s charity NSPCC which has received over £5.2 million worth of funding from the players of the lottery.

Many good causes close to the winners have also benefitted from players’ support, and local charities can apply for funding next year.
