Bognor woman to take on 5k Race for Life from Home in memory of lost loved ones

Westergate woman Cat Morgan is not letting the cancellation of this year’s Race for Life events stop her raising money for Cancer Research UK.

The 32-year-old was due to be taking part in the rescheduled Worthing 5k on September 27, which has now been cancelled.

Instead Cat will be taking on her own Race for Life from Home On September 27 with a 5k around Bognor Regis.

Cat is doing the run in memory of her grandad and aunt, who both sadly died from cancer in 1990 and 2013, respectively.

So far, she has raised nearly £500 for Cancer Research UK, and hopes she can raise even more before the run in a couple of months.
