Pamper Day raises over £700 for charity

A PAMPER Day, held at the Early Years Nursery School, Bexhill, raised over £700 for the Demelza Children's Hospice.

Visitors to the event, organised by Sidley residents Katrina Dowling and Matt Forest, were able to partake of a range of pampering treats all at just 3 a go.

Manicures, pedicures and nail art proved to be the most popular treatments of the day and comments from satisfied customers included:

"Treatments on offer were brilliant and great value for money."

"Can't wait until the next one!" and,

"I took my teenage children along and they thoroughly enjoyed it too."

Katrina and Matt tragically lost their 19month old son Charlie, who suffered with cerebral palsy and epilepsy, last year and wanted to raise money for the Demelza Children's Hospice as their way of saying thank you to the charity for its support throughout a difficult time.

A total of 736.70 was raised at the event with most of the proceeds coming from the raffle and tombola.
