Wheelchair athlete works with pupils
Steve is working with a group of year 7 pupils in order to boost their confidence levels; encourage team building skills and improve their overall outlook of the school.
Steve said: “This is going to be an exciting opportunity for both groups of pupils to trust, share and experience sport together”

Hide AdHe is also developing leadership skills with a group of year 8 pupils including netball umpire award, football coaching, gymnastics coaching and introducing a new sport into the school (Ultimate Frisbee).
Katie Guirey who started at the school in September has organized the event and is working alongside Steve and the teams to make them as successful as possible.
Pupil Annabel Lunson said: “Meeting Steve Brown and listening to his story was really interesting and has inspired me to achieve more”
Bailey Harris, Dillon Stepney, Sam Alford and Toby Lancaster, also Rydon pupils, said: “It is really nice that an Olympic athlete is going to be spending time with us and especially after what he has been through.”
