Two '˜pillars of the community' went out of their way in Worthing

I work at the Co-op in Rowlands Road. People came in on Wednesday, March 23, to say an elderly woman had fallen over and we went rushing out to her.

Two men from DHL courier services stopped their van.

One went into the shop and got her shopping for her and paid for it himself and didn’t let her pay him back.

Myself, my manager and the two men stayed with her until the ambulance arrived.

They are the pillars of the community.
