On Friday July 10, I came home from your lovely town after a few days away.

On Wednesday July 8 I wanted to buy a coffee from the coffee bar on platforms 1 and 2 at Eastbourne railway station. I haven’t got a credit or debit card, so I was going to pay cash. The lady refused to serve me a coffee because I was going to pay by cash.

What about other people who have not got a debit or credit card who want to buy a coffee?

Coffee shops and bars which only take credit and debit card payments should think about people who have not got credit or debit cards.

People who don’t have these should be allowed to pay by cash. I understand why this is in place but companies should think more. Shops do.

This upset me while I was on holiday.
