People alwayswilling to assist

I HAVE recently been reading a magazine article quoting Scope, the charity for people with cerebral palsy, in which a survey showed that: 'People with a disability endure further suffering because of poor public attitude.'

It brought home to me that I live in a very civilised part of Great Britain.

People in Bexhill, and especially in Little Common where I live, go out of their way to assist me without me even having to ask for help.

I am profoundly deaf, have poor vision and diminished mobility.
