LETTER: Incorrect dates for bin service?

I have just received my membership sticker for Horsham District Council’s new Acorn Plus Garden Waste Collection Service.

Unfortunately I think it shows incorrect dates. I paid £29 for one year’s service, the scheme starts on June 1, 2013, but the end date on my sticker is March 31, 2014, and not May 31, 2014, one year after the start date.

So I, and presumably over 20,000 other people, have paid for 12 months’ service and will receive only ten months’ service.

Perhaps I have missed a trick – on the part of Horsham District

Council. Or will the council get its calendar out and send us all new stickers showing the correct end date?
