A leg up for animal rescue

I am writing on behalf of Wadars animal rescue to say a very big thank you to your readers for their recent support.

Last month, you very kindly ran an appeal on our behalf to fund an operation on the badly broken leg of Enid, a Chinese Crested hairless dog.

As a result of the appeal we received a number of donations which enabled us to mend Enid’s leg, to provide her ongoing care, and also to help other homeless animals.

I’m delighted to be able to report that Enid is recovering well from her operation and is currently living with one of our volunteer fosterers until she is fit enough to be rehomed.

We rely on public support to enable us to continue our work, so thank you again to everyone who sent us donations.
