Kindness and then so much meanness

I AM disabled and drive an electric buggy and I would like to thank the kind couple who came to my aid on Saturday when a huge gust of wind took off the cover of my buggy as I was driving towards Rustington.

They were very kind and retrieved the cover from the road and helped to fix it back on for me.

Then a little way on, two lads on motorbikes overtook me and shouted abuse that I should not be on the road.

Their language was most disgusting and they really upset me.

I have as much right as they do to be on the road.

I am very independent and manage to do most things on my own.

I hope they read this and I hope they feel some remorse.

There certainly is a generation gap.
