Confusion over bin collections

We refer to an article in the County Times dated January 2, in connection with Horsham District Council’s decision to make £29 charge for green waste as from April 1, 2013.

This will only confuse the system even more so than at present.

As I have a brown lid (green waste) not collected since November 2012 and collected on January 16, 2013, the 48 hour notice period of reporting seems to have gone out the window as this case was reported on December 7, 2012.

The refuse collection Acorn Plus should quote Acorn minus on vans as it cannot do its job properly.

I am fed up with having to keep reporting ‘assisted collections’ not being done correctly.

This extra charge will only confuse issues all the more.

I suggest that Horsham District Council seriously reconsider its decision over introducing an extra hidden charge.

What point is there in confusing the issue when the refuse collection system cannot do its job properly now?
