Bypassing the bigger problem

The Lyminster bypass is definitely required but I am worried that it will solve one problem but create a bigger one at Crossbush, which is already worse than Lyminster.

If the Arundel bypass is not to be built before the Lyminster bypass, then my only suggestion is to eliminate the pedestrian crossing lights just past Arundel railway station and construct a bridge or underpass. It’s not a long- term solution but may help in the short-term.

Very often the Crossbush lights change but traffic cannot move, as the A27 towards Arundel is completely blocked.

I live in Rustington and my family live on the north side of Crossbush, in Poling, so I use this section of road frequently.
