World of Words: Book club

With the new Herald & Gazette book club, we will let you know what book to read and we will spend the week reading.

Our current book is A Tale of Two Cities by Charles Dickens, and the wonderful people at World of Books will be putting a box of free copies in Worthing Library – hurry to pick up your copy.

Things to think about this week: what do you think motivated Charles Dickens to write? If you were writing a great ‘social novel’ today, what do you consider to be the big topics of our time?
