Chestnut Tree House Hospice update

2014 is a very exciting year for us as we have recently opened a branch office in East Sussex.

During the 10 years since it opened, Chestnut Tree House has seen an increasing demand for its specialist care services for children with life-limiting and life-threatening illnesses, particularly in East Sussex. As a result, our Community Team of nurses and care support workers who provide care in families’ own homes, has recently expanded to 20 staff and we have a new office in Eastbourne.

The office will provide a base for the East Sussex Community Team and also a meeting point for local people wanting to support the hospice.

Community Fundraiser, Georgia Abbot, has recently joined Chestnut Tree House and spreading the word about the work of the hospice in the Hastings area and meeting current and new supporters.

There are many ways you can get involved with Chestnut Tree House. You could organise a fundraising event, volunteer, help with collections, join our hospice lottery, donate items to one of our charity shops or participate in one of the hospice’s events. If you would like to get involved with Chestnut Tree House, please contact Georgia on 01323 348008 or email [email protected].
