Next Wave exhibition feedback will go to strategy group

FEEDBACK from the Next Wave public exhibition which opens at the De La Warr Pavilion Studio on Thursday evening will be reported to Rother council's seafront strategy working group.

In a press release on Tuesday, Rother said: "Want to know what Rother District Council is proposing to improve and revitalise the Seafront? How we will create new walkways to the promenade, build new shelters and seating, improve the lighting and ambiance?

"Then come along to the public exhibition on our proposals for the seafront in the Studio at the De La Warr Pavilion on 16th, 17th and 18th October, at the following times:

16th October: 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm

17th October: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

18th October: 10:00 am to 4:00 pm

"This exhibition will provide an opportunity for you to see for yourself the proposals for the seafront at first hand and to ask any questions you may have about the proposed scheme. It will also be an ideal opportunity for you to give us comments and feedback on the Next Wave proposals.

"The consultation period will continue until October 31, and from October 20 to 31 the exhibition and feedback forms will also be available at the Council's Community Help Point, Amherst Road (opening times 8.30am '“ 4.30pm Mon, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday. Wednesday 9.30am '“ 4.30pm).

"The exhibition material and feedback form will also be available to view on the council's website, www.rother.gov.uk and the feedback form can be completed on screen and returned by email or by post if preferred.

"The results of the feedback will be reported back to the Council's Seafront Strategy Working Group."
