New homes on Felpham nursery site

Plans have been resubmitted for a development of 29 homes on the site of a horticultural nursery in Felpham.

The development, at Ivy Cottage Nursery, Flansham Road, would consist of 19 three-bedroom houses and ten two-bedroom houses as well as an access road, landscaping and open space provision plus 49 car parking spaces.

Mr DE Caiger, the applicant, says the new homes would be in keeping with the surrounding residential nature area, as well as contributing to the council's affordable housing needs.

All houses would have rear access. A similar application for the site was withdrawn earlier this year.
