Middleton vandalism is main cause for concern

Criminal damage was one of the main crime problems raised at the latest neighbourhood management forum meeting for Middleton and Elmer.

The concerns for the forum members included continuing damage to the Jubilee Hall windows, fences in the area and isolated incidents of broken windows. Police community support officer Clive Morge reports that consideration is being given to CCTV, more security lighting and grills and shutters at the hall.

Speeding and motoring offences were another big topic raised. PCSO Morge said he delt with these offences daily.
