Last chance to fight planned housing development in Angmering

CAMPAIGNERS in Angmering are urging one final push from people against a proposed housing scheme which could have large-scale consequences for the village.

Save Angmering Village (SAV) is reminding residents that the closing date to express their views on a planning application for 38 homes on land east of Roundstone Lane, between Pound Place and the Worthing Rugby Club, is a mere seven days away – with the deadline for comments set for Thursday, (February 7).

The group believes that if this application is approved by Arun District Council it could open the floodgates for other, large-scale sites comprised of hundreds of homes.

Sue Ware, of SAV, said: “It’s very important we continue to show the council that the people of Angmering don’t want development east of Roundstone Lane.”
