Landlords advised to attend forum on changes

Property landlords are being urged to attend the next Arun Landlords' Forum.

The November 14 session will outline how they will be affected by the forthcoming change to the payment of housing benefit.

From next April, a new form of benefit '“ Local Housing Allowance '“ will start. This will be paid to the tenant rather than the property owner. It will only affect tenants in private properties.

The forum will take place at 2pm in the council chamber at Arun District Council's offices in Maltravers Road in Littlehampton.

Tea and coffee will be available from 1.15pm in Committee Room 1 next to the chamber.
