Joy Of Africa

Life Conversations Radio station, located at the Creative Media Centre in Hastings, is sponsoring the award winning Joy of Africa event again this year.

Project organiser Ombassa Sophera says: "Joy Of Africa is a unique project, created to shed new light and information about the beauty and cultures of the African continent, to bring cohesion, understanding and a sense of unity to the residents of the Hastings and Bexhill Communities. This is an event that is sure to uplift, educate and connect communities in the Hastings area, while providing young people and local artists the opportunity to share their gifts with the community."

On Saturday, November 25, children from the local community, youth organisations and secondary schools such as Cranbrook, Bexhill High and St. Mary's School and College, will be actively participating in the event at Bexhill High School by sharing their presentations, research projects and performances about the African continent.
