THE HURST GREEN BEAST!. Have you seen it? It keeps tunnelling it’s way under our fence, we fill up the hole with concrete and it does it again further down. There doesn’t seem to be any damage done in the garden but I have noticed a neighbours chickens have gone quiet...maybe it’s a Brighton & Hove Albion adversary trying to get to our next door neighbour, who is often seen wearing his blue & white scarf on his way to the match!!! ‘Come on the Blues!’

THE HURST GREEN COMMUNITY SHOP & CAFE continues to grow in popularity and NOW NEEDS A COOK. URGENTLY

Due to the growing demand on the cafe, a cook is urgently required over the weekends to help with the busy morning periods. The need has become SO URGENT that the shop has upgraded this role from a volunteer post to A PAID POST. The person would be required between 10.00 am and 1.30 pm on Saturdays & Sundays i.e. 7 hours a week. The post could be shared by 2 people so that they only have to work every other weekend.
