Hunt launched for suspected thief in Littlehampton

At about 3.30am officer received reports that two men were seen shining torch lights into vehicles and trying to open doors of cars parked in Lanyards.

Police quickly responded and searched the area. A man was soon arrested in Worthing Road on suspicion of stealing a wallet from an insecure vehicle in Peregrine Road.

The second suspect is still at large. Police are now urging witnesses or anyone with information to contact them by calling 101 quoting serial 0182 02/09/14.
