Hospital puts art to test

Young people are being offered the chance to help patients in Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital get better.

A competition is being held by the hospital's Friends for under-16s to design a get well card.

The contest provides the youngsters with the chance to see their artwork on sale and raising money for the Shripney Road hospital.

Three age groups '“ 4-8, 9-12 and 13-16 '“ will ensure plenty of opportunities for artists to use their creative skills. The winning design from each age group will receive a prize. The overall winner will be printed and put on sale at the hospital's tea bar. Other outlets will possibly be found as well.

The winner will be announced at the summer fete held by the Friends on August 4. Entries must be addressed to the Friends' office at Bognor Regis War Memorial Hospital, Shripney Road, Bognor Regis PO22 9PP.They must show the individual's name, age and telephone number and include a 1 entry fee.
