Help find Gaynor's brothers

A younger sister has put out an appeal to trace the brothers she has never met.

Gaynor Tumulty of Manchester contacted the Observer to try and find David and Ronald Bowen who are both in their late 50's.

She believes they live in or around the Bexhill area.

Gaynor, who is 44 and whose family broke up before she was even born, is trying to find David in particular because another brother, Christopher, wants to reach him with news of a family death.

Gaynor said: "I am trying to trace these relatives - they were last known to be living in Bexhill. One is David Allan Bowen, who is around 58 or 59 years old, and the other is Ronald Bowen, who is around 57. My mother came from the London area, so the first few children were born there. My older brother Christopher was born in London and I believe David and Ronald were too. But they were older than me, I don't know if David and Ronald knew of my existence because of family circumstances which happened before I was born.

"But they did know Christother and another brother called Michael Bowen. But they were teenagers when the family broke up and my mother moved to Manchester, where I was born, and they stayed in London.

"The reason I am trying to trace them is we have had a death in the family - my brother Christopher's wife has died and he wants David to know because he knew her."

Gaynor has also asked Sussex Police for help, but is hoping anyone with information will contact the Bexhill Observer and messages be passed on to her.
