Halloween fun at Bay House

A party is held at Bay House Nursing Home so that residents can enjoy both Halloween and Guy Fawkes Night.

The celebration on Friday October 31 will include a BBQ buffet, firework display and live music. There will be 'trick or treating' by some of the great and great-grandchildren of some of the residents and the evening will focus on raising funds for the Alzheimers Charity.

Owner Naz Manji said: "The event will also strongly focus on celebrating the successful achievements of Bay House Nursing Home over the last 2 years."

Mr Manji took over the home in August 2006 and has invested both energy and financial resources into "dramatically" transforming the care and the environment in which this care is delivered.

The home in Middlesex Road has been refurbished and now provides an "excellent" standard of accommodation for the residents.

The party from 5.30pm will be attended by representatives from local businesses as well as Rother District Council and the Rotary Club, and the Town Mayor Councillor Patrick Douart will declare it officially open at 6pm.
