Greg Barker takes King Offa pupils to Palace of Westminster
Childen from King Offa School have been welcomed to the Palace of Westminster by town MP Greg Barker.
At the end of their official guided tour, the MP personally escorted the children onto the House of Commons terrace, showing his guests the famous view of the Thames.
He said: "I was delighted to be able to welcome the children and staff of King Offa School to Parliament and help give them a glimpse of this wonderful historic site where I spend so much of my time.
"We need to do much more to engage young people in politics, so I hope this visit to the Mother of Parliaments will help foster a longer term interest in our work here."
