Glyne Gap pupils will support Sport Relief

PUPILS of Glyne Gap School are busy preparing to do their bit for Sport Relief.

For the special needs school Thursday will be a special day -a day of maximum effort for the aim is for every pupil to undertake Sport Relief's "Multi-Coloured Mile" regardless of personal difficulty.

The entire school, many of them in wheelchairs, will gather by the Sea Angling Club on De La Warr Parade tomorrow at 10am accompanied by staff.

The aim is to walk the mile to the De La Warr Pavilion and to raise as much as possible in sponsorship for Sport Relief.

Organiser Alex Upjohn says: "The whole school - more than 100 of us - will be out there.

"We are trying to encourage everyone to walk, or at least take part.

"They have to be dressed in as much multi-colours as they can."
