Fundraising concert for church

After receiving a generous bequest from a former parishioner the church has drawn up plans for a new hall but needs to raise a further 50,000.

A Midsummer concert will take place on Saturday June 28.

The programme will include operatic arias, light classical pieces and folk song arrangements.

The concert begins at 7pm and tickets are 20 each, including wine and canaps after the concert, and are available from LaPorte's in Lansdown Place, Lewes, The Laurels on the High Street, Lewes, or by calling 07709939780 or 01273 890805.
