Fresh appeal for witnesses after fatal collision involving police car
David Ormesher, 79, from Poole, Dorset, a edestrian, was involved in a collision with a police car at about 1am on Friday, August 25, near the junction of Edward Street and Devonshire Place. He died at the scene.
Independent Police Complaints Commission (IPCC) said its investigators attended the scene and post-incident procedures where police witnesses provided their first accounts.

Hide AdInvestigators have also been speaking to residents in the area.
The IPCC said an inquest into Mr Ormesher’s death has been opened and adjourned.
IPCC Commission delegate Catherine Hall said: “The investigation is making good progress, but on this day, one month after the tragic death of Mr Ormesher, I am asking for anyone with information to contact us.
“It is important we establish the circumstances surrounding the crash and we would like to hear from anyone who may have seen or heard anything that could assist our investigators.
