“It was a real highlight of 2017 for us and after the fantastic feedback from parents, we knew we had to bring it back for the new year.

“We’ll have different themes each month running right up until November and I’m looking forward to seeing some familiar faces and welcoming those that may not have experienced a Rockers and Rockettes Kids’ Club before.”

This month the club is going green and the centre’s resident gardener Mr McGregor will be on-hand teaching children about how they can grow their own food at home.

From 11am to 3pm, they’ll learn how to plant a range of fruit and vegetables and grow their very own ‘crazy cress head’.

They’ll even be able to decorate it with a whole host of weird, wonderful and wacky decorations.

The Rockers and Rockettes Kids’ Club takes place on the first Sunday of every month at Churchill Square until November.

The activity is free to take part in and booking isn’t required.
