Forest Row woman goes missing

Police are searching for a missing Forest Row woman.

Gerda Uelfer-Woods, 75, was reported missing on July 7, having not been heard from since June 25, Sussex Police said.

She had stated that she was going to be travelling to Ireland and was expected to return around July 17, but has so far not done so.

A police spokesman said: “It is not unusual for her not to make contact while travelling, but her family and police would like to be reassured that she is safe and well.

“Anyone with information about her whereabouts is asked to contact Sussex Police online or call 101 quoting serial 628 of 07/07.”

Gerda is white, 5ft, of small build, with blonde hair and brown eyes.
