Fireworks event helps lifeboats
FAMILIES gathered to watch a free fireworks display, which was combined with fairground rides on Adur Recreation Ground.
The event on Saturday raised £341.23 for Shoreham Harbour Lifeboat Station.
Hugh Tucknott, chairman of Shoreham Harbour Lifeboat Society, said Shoreham RNLI had been the chosen charity this year and volunteers raised the money through a bucket collection.
The event included traditional fairground rides during the afternoon and evening, with a fireworks display at 8.30pm.
