Final chance to shine a light on Arun’s inspiring young people

The chance to recognise the heroic actions of young people across the Arun district is almost drawing to a close.

Despite the deadline for this year’s Arun Youth Community Awards ceremony having been extended from this Friday, until Friday next week, organisers are as keen as ever to hear more inspiring stories about the area’s kind-hearted young people.

Organised by Inspire Leisure in conjunction with the Arun Youth Council, the ceremony celebrates the actions of youngsters for their bravery or commitment to voluntary and charity work, across Arun district.

Anyone aged between 11 and 19 can be nominated.

The winners will be announced at the event on March 14, at the Windmill Entertainment Centre.
