Fantastic fitness fun for all in Littlehampton park

PLENTY of ‘Parktastic’ fitness fun will be taking place in one of Littlehampton’s treasured beauty spots later this month.

Arun District Council, Arun Well-being and Inspire Leisure are once again staging Parktastic, a family friendly free fitness event in Mewsbrook Park on September 21.

Arun chairman, councillor Dougal Maconachie, will open the day, which runs from 10am to 3pm.

All ages are welcome with a bumper range of events and activities that promote a healthy, active lifestyle, including Zumba, seated exercise classes, boxercise, massage taster sessions, walking football and more.

Councillor Paul Wotherspoon, Arun’s cabinet member for community services, said: “Parktastic is simply a fantastic community event that brings together young and old, who are eager to adopt a healthier lifestyle and have fun as a family.

“It is also a great showcase of what Arun Wellbeing and their partners do best, in a beautiful setting, and all for free.”

There will also be a number of organisations joining the day to provide information about local services, including Carers Support, and Volunteer Now!
