Elderly pedestrian "seriously" injured

A MAN in his nineties suffered what police described as "serious" injuries when he was involved in a collision with a silver Hyundai car park at Sainsbury's car park on Wednesday.

The accident happened at about 3.10pm. The pedestrian was taken to the Conquest Hospital at Hastings.

Police are appealing for witnesses to contact the Road Policing Unit at Polegate on 0845 6070999 quoting Operation Broad.
