Driver taken to hospital after Bognor Regis crash

A driver was taken to hospital after a crash in Bognor Regis.

Emergency services were called to Bognor Regis this morning after a car collided with a stationary vehicle.

Police and fire crews were called to the incident in Rose Green Road, Bognor Regis, at 12pm today (July 5).

A spokesman for West Sussex Fire and Rescue Service said one car was on its side after hitting a stationary vehicle. Firefighters from Bognor and the Heavy Rescue Tender unit from Chichester were on the scene alongside ambulance crews and police.

One person was freed from a vehicle before being taken to hospital. The driver’s condition and injuries are not yet known.

Crews had made the scene safe by 12.45pm.
