The very rev Stephen Waine, who was appointed to the role this year, has married Elizabeth Rowe.

“Congratulations to the Dean of Chichester and wife Elizabeth,” said a spokeswoman for the cathedral.

“The cathedral community joined the happy couple for the service which also included the Dean of Ely, the Bishop of Salisbury and Stephen’s father, the right reverend John Waine.
