Police helicopter dispatched after overnight break-in in Crawley

A police helicopter helped to track down three suspects following an overnight break-in in Crawley, the force said.

The helicopter was dispatched in the early hours of this morning (Friday April 22) to assist officers on the ground.

Police had been mobilised to investigate a break-in at a ‘commercial premises’ near the K2 Leisure Centre, a spokesperson for Sussex Police said.

The spokesperson added that three people were arrested on suspicion of burglary.
