Couple to meet with teenager after alleged Horsham town centre attack

A couple with learning difficulties are to meet with a teenage man as part of a ‘community resolution’ following an alleged attack, police said.

A spokesperson for Sussex Police said: “It has been agreed by all parties that the perpetrators and the victims will meet as part of a community resolution.”

Police added that an 18-year-old man who was arrested following the incident ‘has been stood down from bail’.

The alleged incident took place in November. At the time, police said the couple were attacked by teenagers in Horsham town centre.
