Crawley people gather for lighting of beacon to mark Queen's 90th birthday

People gathered in Tilgate Park last night (Thursday April 21) to see the lighting of the beacon to mark The Queen's 90th birthday.

The Mayor of Crawley, Cllr Chris Cheshire, did the honours to celebrate the anniversary.

The beacon in Tilgate Park was previously lit on May 8 2015 to mark the 70th anniversary of Victory in Europe Day.
