Claire's bright idea

YOU VE got to hand it to Fletching arts student Claire Lewis she s full of bright ideas.

The 31-year-old Middlesex University student has come up with an idea of making a very fetching table lamp out of a common, household rubber glove.

Claire, who designed the lamps for the recent Domicile 2 exhibition at the Museum of Domestic Design and Architecture at Cat Hill in Barnet, said they 'experimented with rubber gloves after trying out items such as hoover bags and tumble dryer tubing.

'I really like the result, she said. 'It s very kitsch and fun.
