Christmas concert's festive favourites

'˜ROUSING' festive favourites will be played at this year's Christmas Concert by the Adur Concert Band.

The event will take place at the Ropetackle Arts Centre, High Street, Shoreham, starting at 6pm on Sunday, December 8.

The band has been travelling a lot this year and has so far performed at Worthing, Arundel, Brighton Pavilion Lawns and Southwick, with mini-tours to Reims, the Channel Islands and Bournemouth.

There will also be a chance for the audience to join in carol singing with the band.

The Adur Concert Band formed from the Adur Youth Concert Band in 1991 and has members across Sussex.

The community band welcomes anyone 18 and over who plays a wind instrument or percussion and there is already a range of levels from beginners to semi-professional musicians.

The current musical director is Andy Burchfield.
