Car's engine destroyed after vehicle bursts into flames
Two fire engines from Crawley were called to the incident near the North Terminal roundabout at about 5.10pm.
The driver had pulled over onto the hard shoulder due to the fire, which is believed to have originated in the engine.

Hide AdFirefighters used two breathing apparatus and a hose reel to tackle the flames.
The engine was destroyed in the fire.
