Car crash: 3 rescued

Three people had to be rescued from the wreckage of a three-car accident in Climping.

The collision occurred just after 5.30pm last Friday on the A259 about 500 yards past the Oystercatcher pub.

Ambulance crews got two people out of the remains of the vehicles.

The other individual was released by Littlehampton and Worthing firefighters. All those rescued were taken to hospital for treatment.

Emergency services stayed at the scene for more than an hour.
