Busy Bexhill Choral Society

Following the recent success of The Armed Man, it's back to work for members of Bexhill Choral Society.

They are now practising for their Christmas Concert every Wednesday night from 7-9 pm at St. Martha's Church hall.

The sixty strong choir has been in existence for 56 years and is led by international conductor and composer Ken Roberts.

Choir chairman, Sue Wright, says "We are a friendly, local choir and we give three very contrasting concerts during the season. For example, we commenced our musical year with the drama and beauty of The Armed Man in October and now we are looking forward to our Christmas Concert which will be a very different and joyous occasion.

"Rehearsals with Ken are a mixture of enjoyment and hard work, which is the right balance for any choir.

"Also, there are no dreaded auditions, so if you enjoy singing, or would like to give it a try, come along and join in.

"We have a number of members from the Little Common area and it's a wonderful way to make new friends."
