Bus service extended
AN extended bus service is to be offered to people living in the Landport estate.
Lib Dem campaigner David Gray is celebrating his successful campaign to get a regular bus service between Landport Estate and Tesco.
Mr Gray, supported by Lewes MP Norman Baker, lobbied the bus company late last year and has now secured a firm guarantee that the 127 bus service will be extended from April 2.
He said: 'I'm really pleased to see that the wishes of local residents have been served.'
