BREAKING NEWS: Two crashes in Chichester rush hour

GRIDLOCK is being reported across the Chichester area during rush hour this evening (July 9).

An accident has been reported on the A27 eastbound carriageway west of the Fishbourne roundabout, with another on the A259 single carriageway between Chichester and Bognor Regis.

The fire brigade is at the scene of the A27 crash, but there are still no details of exactly what has happened.

An eyewitness reported one car looked to be ‘completely destroyed’ and that there were around three fire engines at the scene, along with police and ambulances.

Fire services have not been called to the A259, however there are long delays reported in both directions.
